My New Swift
So I saw the instructions for this swift online & sent it to the hubs. He agreed to make it for me. So yesterday he went to the store & got the necessary parts. And this afternoon, in about an hour, I had a new swift!
This is cool. Where's the "winding" part though? I don't get it? Am I just dense? Is this just to put it in the skein form, but not to wind it up into a ball form?

It's meant to take the place of the umbrella swift. So it holds the yarn so I can wind it into a cake with my ball winder.
